Bee division and bee colony evolution

1, Honeybees expand their population by dividing them naturally.

The reproduction of the bee population is mainly achieved by natural bee division. When the bee colony has the idea of dividing bees, the drone hive will be built to cultivate the drone, In about 20 days, the colony of bees will build a queen bee platform to cultivate the queen bee. When the larvae in the queen bee platform are capped and mature, the colony willnaturally divide. When the bee was divided, the queen bee led most of the worker bees out of the nest to find a new site for nesting. The original hive is left to the new queen bee and the remaining worker bees.

2, evolution as a unit

The colony is the basic unit for the survival and reproduction of bees, although a single bee is also an independent organism, But no single bee can survive without leaving the colony. In fact, the bees have evolved in groups. If it weren’t for an inappropriate metaphor, the entire swarm is like a person, Worker bees are responsible for working like human hands and feet,  Queen bees and drones are responsible for reproduction just like the human reproductive system.
