Oriental bee is one of the nine bee species found in the world. It is mainly distributed in South Asia and East Asia and has formed different subspecies in different places. 1, Chinese Bee

The Chinese bee is a subspecies of the oriental bee. It belongs to China’s unique bee species. It is also known as the middle bee, bumblebee, and wild bee. 4, Aba Bee

Aba honeybee is a subspecies of oriental bee, mainly distributed in Aba, Ganzi and other places in the southwest of Sichuan Province and the Yalong River and Dadu River in China. It is also found in eastern Qinghai and southeast Gansu.The small shield is brownish-yellow or black. It is weak in bees and can maintain a strong group. The individual is cold-resistant and good at using winter honey.

5, Chinese Hainan Bee

Hainan bee is a subspecies of oriental bee, belonging to China’s unique fine bee species, mainly distributed in Hainan Province, China. Worker bees are yellow-gray and have black bands on the back of each ventral segment. In addition, Hainan honeybees can be divided into two types of mountain and coconut forest types. Among them, the mountain type is more tame, has strong collection ability, and is good at using scattered honey powder sources. The coconut forest bees are more fierce and have strong bee-dividing properties. No obvious bee stage.

6,  Himalayan bees

Himalayan bee is a subspecies of Oriental bee, also known as rock bee, snow mountain bee, etc., mainly distributed in southern Tibet and northwestern Yunnan and other places in China. It is also found in a small amount in Nepal. Individuals have strong cold tolerance and are good at using southern winter nectar sources. They have a moderate ability to maintain group vigor. They have weak resistance to wax crickets (nest worms). When their survival is threatened, they are prone to abandon nest migration.
